Dielectric Breakdown Voltage Strength30 - 35 kV/mmDepends on the material thickness and processing technology
    V. Chemical Properties

The PP material has good resistance to most chemical substances. It is insoluble in solvents such as water, alcohols, and aliphatic hydrocarbons at room temperature. However, at high temperatures, it can be dissolved in some aromatic hydrocarbons and halogenated hydrocarbons.

The PP material also has good corrosion resistance to chemical substances such as acids and alkalis. In solutions of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sodium hydroxide, etc. at general concentrations, its performance is stable.

The PP material has poor resistance to strong oxidants (such as concentrated sulfuric acid, concentrated nitric acid, etc.). Under the action of these strong oxidants, the material may undergo oxidative degradation.

    VI. Molding and Processing Properties

The PP material has good fluidity, and the Melt Flow Rate (MFR) is generally between 1 - 100g/10min, and the specific value depends on the molecular weight of the material and the processing conditions.

During injection molding, the recommended processing temperature is 200 - 260℃, and the mold temperature is 30 - 80℃.

The shrinkage rate of the PP material is relatively large. During the molding process, it is necessary to pay attention to controlling the mold size and process parameters to ensure the dimensional accuracy of the products.

In addition, the PP material can be made into various shaped products through various processing methods such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and thermoforming.
